"We booked the chefs table with chef Khaled Blassoued for my husbands birthday - it was nothing short of amazing. The calamari spaghetti was outstanding and the pulled beef fricassee delicious. All dishes were excellent. The chef prepared the dishes in the open kitchen located in the private chef room and explained each dish when they were served. The waiter and service were impeccable. The restaurant itself is stunning and located right on the beach 10/10 would recommend."

"This is an old establishment that is being kept top notch. The location being on the beach directly and the quality of food means that you need reservations especially for dinner. For lunch you might be able to get a table especially if you come in early. For this visit we ordered seabass that would be partially grilled and partially used to make tunisian pasta. Octopus carpaccio, grilled calamari, an aubergine starter and some grilled shrimps. The aubergine dish was subpar, the shrimps were good, the octopus strangely didn’t have much taste at all! However the highlight was the fried calamari. I think it is worth visiting the place just for them. The pasta was just amazing and seabass was grilled to perfection."

"One of my favorite restaurants in Tunis... + Perfect view and atmosphere.. + Food is delicious! Had their amazing steak many times... they also come with the tastiest sauces ever (pepper and mushroom). + Nice decoration that gives premium Mediterranean vibes. - Parking is a bit limited, specially during weekends. - Service is good in general, but I've been waited on by inexperienced waiters before (quite rare though). - For some reason at the reception, there's an employee/ manager who's always frowning. Would be better if he can be a bit more friendy with people."

"The staff at this place are very polite and genuinely helpful, which creates a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. However, the service can be quite slow, so it might not be ideal if you’re in a hurry. As for the food, it tastes fine — nothing particularly outstanding, but decent enough for a casual meal. With a bit more attention to speed and flavor, this place could easily become a go-to spot."

"I came here expecting the best restaurant in Tunis to act like it. Instead, I was met with confusion and carelessness from start to finish. I arrived without a reservation and was seated in what looked like a small dining area — tables were unset, no atmosphere, but nobody said a word. I assumed it was part of the restaurant. After fifteen minutes of sitting there with no menu, no drink, and no explanation, I finally demanded a menu. Still nothing, until I stopped another waiter myself — while the host kept walking past, making eye contact, and saying nothing. Only when someone came to pick me up and bring me to another table did I realise I had been sitting in a waiting area. Nobody had told me. If this was intentional, it was a strange and unwelcoming way to start a meal (no drinks offered for example). Once seated properly, things improved somewhat. The food was good, the kitchen clearly capable. My steak was tasty but unevenly cooked — too rare on one side, too well-done on the other. I had ordered fries, but it arrived with potato mash instead. Not the end of the world, but at this level, it shouldn’t happen. As for the red wine, the glass I first tried wasn’t bad — just a cheap option with no alternative by the glass. For the special occasion, I ordered a bottle instead. The waiter brought a completely different wine than what I ordered, assuring me it was the same. It tasted fine, so I let it go — until I checked online during the meal and saw it was a totally different (and cheaper) wine. When I pointed it out, the waiter shrugged. At payment, I showed him both labels on my phone; he silently took the bottle away, came back, and dropped it back on the table without a word. No apology, no explanation. I was offered to take the rest of the bottle home, which was polite at least, but the entire interaction felt careless and dismissive. For a place considered one of Tunis’ finest, the lack of communication, attention, and honesty is deeply disappointing. With proper service, this could be a great restaurant — but right now, it simply isn’t."

"During a recent business trip to Tunisia, I was taken to Le Golfe restaurant in Tunis, and it was a wonderful lunch experience. We were seated around a large table facing the beach. The appetizers served included some small, cooked fish, olives, bread, etc. We were served beef tournedos with either pepper or mushroom sauce. Unfortunately, the beef was lukewarm when it was served, along with some French fries, probably due to the number of people at our table. The beef was quite good as was the fresh fruit for dessert. Table service was very fast and responsive and you can never complain about having lunch on the beach!"

"Overall it was a very good experience ! We went on a Thursday and it wasn’t very busy, which made it very calm (especially in the non smoking area +++ which is very good to have as an option). Food was amazing, everything we ordered with sea food and fish tasted very fresh and particularly delicious. For the main dishes : We ordered a rib-steak (medium) and it was a very nice piece of meat. (The salad it came with had no dressing though, which would have been nice). The welcoming and service was a bit cold somehow but it was good (nothing wrong about it maybe it’s a policy to be very inconspicuous, but some warmth and smiles would have been a good addition). Would definitely recommend the tiramisu for desert. Overall very good address and prices are fair for the experience you get."
